Sachdeva Global School, Dwarka celebrated its annual day recently. The theme of the function was 'The awakening'. Headmistress of the school Dr Amita Saxena welcomed the guests and parents on the occasion. The function began with the lighting of lamp followed by Ganesh vandana. There was a performance by the students' choir group accompanied by the school band that sang to the tune of 'We will rock you'. The toddlers presented a musical story, 'Rumble in the jungle' spreading the message of unity. The students of senior classes kept the audience spellbound with their acting skills in skits, foot tapping dances, etc. A dance performance 'Teeja tera rang tha…' brought tears to the spectators' eyes. Dance performances 'Zamane ke sartaj' and 'Naman hai' received applause from the audience. The highlight of the day was 'Peace dance' performance followed by an action-packed 'skating' performance. The young achievers of the school were felicitated.
