A demonstration to support the ongoing spate of protest initiated by 'Toll Hatao Committee' against Khedki Daula toll at Delhi Gurgaon expressway was carried by IMT Industrial Association in association with Joint Action Forum of RWAs (JAFRA).
Members of the committee showed agitation against the claims of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). “As per the agreement with the NHAI neither foot-over bridge and elevators nor ambulance and trauma centre have been constructed so far. Moreover, this toll plaza has become a bottleneck and causing numerous problems to commuters regularly, said Rajesh Kumar.”
"The toll plaza at expressway should be removed. We have written to the concerned authorities as well as the ministry to agree on our demands by January 26 or else be prepared to face the consequences," said secretary of the committee.
