To show respect towards senior citizens, Grandparent's Day was celebrated by Samsara World School on December 17. The aim was to make children realise the importance of living with grandparents.    
The day began with auspicious lighting of the lamp by some grandparents. Senior students expressed their feelings for their grandparents by sharing their moments with them. Many heart rendering performances were showcased like pomp-pomp dance, dance on old songs' parodies and exquisite group songs for the grandparents. The grandparents present in the event had an overwhelming experience to take part in fun-filled activities like decorating pots, flat race, garland making, musical chair and antakshari. Eyes of many grandparents were moist as they were touched by the honour they received.
