Determination can overcome challenges of life. This was well proved by students of Noida Deaf Society (NDS) recently in a felicitation ceremony. Around 200 hearing impaired students of NDS were awarded certificates in courses like MS office, hardware/networking and graphic designing. These vocational courses are specially designed to impart employable skills to hearing impaired (HI) students and empower them to be a part of the mainstream talent pool.
Ruma Roka, founder and general secretary, Noida Deaf Society said, "This is indeed a very proud moment for NDS to see our students successfully completing their training and step into the professional world. We want these youth to change their and their families' lives for the good."
