Last week, Brahmand Mahila Mandal organised a fair at Brahmand. The fare was organised by an all-women committee. What was unique about the fair was that all stalls at the fair were put up be women.
The event was organised by the mandal to promote talent among women. And it certainly dis. While a few women showcased the culinary skills, some displayed their talent in the form of paintings. The event lasted for a day. Seema Rajesirke, member of Mahila Mandal, says "We have been organising this event for more than 10 years. This proves to be a great platform for women to showcase their talent."
