They gathered for donation, creation and celebration here on the eve of 62nd Republic Day of India. Following saplings plantation drive, art and craft creations were held. For promoting Rajsthani and Gujrati culture stalls were arranged here. Speaking to Cityplus, Lina Ambani who laid stalls here said, "We put stalls at various societies of Pimple Saudagar where people could select hand crafts. We only arrange self-created hand crafts allowing an opportunity for people to understand and recognise different cultures. Ankur Tandon is also associated with us."
Revealing details of other activities held here, Chitra Bakshi, Treasurer, Mithras Park said, "Many of nature lovers residing here in the society came forward with their kids who planted the trees.
Committee has donated 20. There were other activities also such as painting, drawing and creations. We have made a replica of a dog by using oranges. Other residents have also made things according to their choices."
A resident of the housing society, Raghwendra Kartikar said, "It is a way to celebrate the occasion differently, which improves relations between the people living in the society." The programme was concluded with a dinner arranged for the participants here.
