Art exhibition Balchitranchi Duniya will be inaugurated on January 7 by Soni Shobha Darmade, a child artist. My Calendar is one of the activities being implemented by GMBHN (pronounced as ga ma bha naa), an institute working towards promoting the child artists for the past three decades. Children are supposed to draw pictures on the blank Calendars provided to them and send one for the exhibition to GMBHN. This year, more than 1,000 pictures drawn by the children on different subjects will be displayed at the exhibition.
My Calendar 2012 will be released by Sandeep Khare, a well-known Marath poet. V.G Hatwalane, regional manager, eastern Pune region, Bank of Maharashtra, will preside over the occasion and Masashiro Wakmori, headmaster, Kodoma No -Mori Gakukan, Saitaama, Japan, will present as the guest of honor. The art exhibition held at Bal Gandhrav Kala Dalan is open to all from January 7-9, between 10 am to 9 pm.
