It was yet another great day for about 100 children in various age groups at the painting exhibition held at the Indian Heritage Academy premises last Saturday by the students of Studio Stokes, a school of fine arts. The day was also the school's 14th annual day.
Like every year, the best of their paintings were displayed for one and all to see. Many a parent was in admiration to see the works of these little ones.
The exhibition contained the best paintings of the students done this year. There were over 100 exhibits. Moreover, it was a moment for parents and students to interact with other students of this institution and see their works as well.
Gyanesh Mishra, the renowned sculptor cum artist, was the judge who had taken time off from his busy schedule to come and select the best of the works. The ones that really stood out to get the awards were of Age Group 6 to 9 years; 10 to 13 years; 14 to 17 years and seniors.
1st prize winners: Ananya Bajaj, Simar Gill, Aditya S and Tripura Sundari.
2nd prize winners: Harsh Agarwal, Arpita Sahu, Lakshmi Ramesh and Arathi Goyal
3rd prize winners: Shivali Bajaj, Siddarth Sahi, Prithi Kannapan and Prithi Machani
Consolation prize winners: Ashmita Ray, Sanjana S, Akshaya Balaji Hard working students of the year 2011 went to Samvidha Venkatesh, Saunadip Sengupta, Antara V and Anusha Mazumdar.
