The special children of 'Aadita', a Centre for assessment and services for persons with different needs, celebrated their fourth Annual Day recently. The event was attended by students, parents, along with the staff and teachers of the Centre.
It gave a chance for parents and kids to share a fun filled evening together, singing old songs in English, Telugu and Hindi, and reciting stories. Parents also participated actively in the event by singing songs in regional languages. A skit titled 'Tit for Tat', in Telugu was one of the interesting features of the evening. Aadita Director, Lakshmi Ravindra presented the Annual report at the event.  The programme ended with the song 'Chanda hai tu' and the Aadita anthem 'Itni Shakti'.
The Centre not only provides special education services to the children with special needs, but also provides curriculum based remedial instruction to the children with learning problems like dyslexia.
According to teachers, the Annual Day celebration showed how well the children who are differently abled can perform with proper training.
