After completing two successful years, Samriddhi, an open school for underprivileged children in Vaishali, gracefully stepped in its third year. To mark this day, the school staff along with the children held a beautiful celebration. Padmashri Dr SC Manchanda inaugurated the function while lighting the camp. This was followed by principal of the school, Nipra Majumdar presenting the annual report of the school before all.
The students of Samriddhi along with Sandeepon Music and Education Society presented a colourful programme of dance and music. This was highly appreciated by all during the celebration. Ustad Nizam Sabir Khan presented a ghazal in his melodious voice which mesmerised all the ghazal lovers. "The students enjoyed the Kathak performance by Malti Shyam, who's a disciple of Pt Birju Maharaj. Many were keen to learn kathak soon after her performance," said Majumdar.
