Swar Mandir Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Sector 16 celebrated Basant Panchmi by offering prayers to Goddess Saraswati.
The evening began with a Saraswati Vandana followed by a guru vandana. The Kathak performance by Lavanya Gandhi, Niyati, Vanshi, Tanisha, Aaradhya and Yashwi showcasing Aamad and Salami enthralled the audiences present during the celebration.
Javed Ali, another student at the music academy presented a beautiful Ghazal. This was followed by a bhajan and a thumri by kids including Megha, Bhoomika, Nidhesh Singha and Vanashvari. Rakesh Sharma, owner of the music academy put in his best efforts to make the programme a success. Bhupendra Singh was the convenor of the program.
