The eighth Annual International Conference of Indian Society for Theatre Research transformed the campus of FLAME Institutes' premises recently. The event was set where lateral thinking and discourses about theatre significance of yesteryears came alive. The symposium had sessions which initiated dialogues that appreciated and debated the theatre methodology for adult and child artists; structural analysis of plays and theatrical guilds; theatre research in India and training techniques in performing arts; deserted children's theatre; teaching costume design; dramaturgy and theatre pedagogy in India. Present at the ceremony was Padmashree Dr Mohan Agashe; Prof Indira J Parikh, Founder President, FLAME; Dr Ravi Chaturvedi, President, ISTR (Indian Society for Theatre Research); Prof B Ananthkrishnan, General Secretary, ISTR and Prof Vanarase Prasad, Dean, FSPA ( FLAME School of Performing Arts).
