Police officers could be seen happy over the inauguration of a three-storey building of Economic Offences Wing of Delhi Police which was done by Commissioner of Police, Delhi at Police Station, Mandir Marg complex on January 3. The shifting of the Economic Offences Wing to a separate building was required in view of increasing incidents of white collar crime over a few years. This new building having a total covered area of 2761 sqm would house all supervisory officers of EOW. This disabled-friendly green building has cavity walls for better temperature control. It has been provided with two DG sets of 380 KVA each for power backup and 24 x 7 power supply.
