More than 40,000 carpenters from across 153 cities worked at NGOs

On December 20, Fevicol Champions' Club (FCC), an exclusive club for carpenters, celebrated Shram Daan Diwas across the country. More than 40,000 carpenters were part of the initiative. The Day was celebrated in more than 153 cities across India.
Member of FCC came together and worked at non-governmental organisations or charitable organisation run by the government for a day without charging any fees.
A lot of schools also benefited from the initiative. Vasantnagri Handicap School in Thane is once such school. The members not only carried on repair work at the school but also donated furniture to the school authorities.
