The annual fate and jumble sale commenced at St. Mary's Church recently, where people
from different community came to enjoy and were a part of a noble cause. Old clothes and unused utensils were collected and put up for jumble sale at a nominal cost. There were different counters which had games like ring-a-thing, water balloon game, food stalls, mehendi and tattoo counters too were big crowd pullers.
"I have bought clothes and utensils. I am happy that I am able to do something for the society in this way. It is really a great experience for me," said Ryan Williams, who is the member of the church.
"I have come along with my friend. This is the first time that I have come to the church and I like the atmosphere of the church and the way things have been put for the noble cause," said Suhas Singh.
"All the funds collected from the fate and jumble sale will be used for social cause. These are the small little things by which we can contribute to the society that has given us so much," said Rev. Sumesh Jacob, Pastor of the church.
