It was a healthy competition on January 21st when ladies of Paraspara Mahila Sangha prepared some fresh salads and impressed judges.
The salad competition that was held for the very first time by Paraspara Mahila Sangha, HBR Layout met a great success with more than 34 members taking part. Salads made from sprouts, boiled vegetables, fruits, greens and other different varieties were prepared by around 15 members. The contest that started at 2:00 pm was judged by two Indiranagar cooking experts who conduct cookery classes. Sumathi Manohar, Manjula Prabhakar and Lalitha Dwarkanath bagged first, second and third prizes in the form of kitchen accessories like salad bowls.
The event that lasted an hour ended at 3:00 pm. "We organised the competition in a befitting way and the response from the members was good. Everyone were enjoying themselves to the core," said Suguna. R, President of Paraspara Mahila Sangha.
