Enthusiasm on the faces of kids made 6th Swabhiman Sports Festival of Gymnastics organised by Swabhiman Sports Board at Queen Mary's School, Sector 25, Rohini, a hit.
The students welcomed the guests by an enchanting Swagatam dance presentation. It was followed by a short presentation by the gymnasts of the school which was applauded by the chief guest as well as other eminent guests.
Queen Mary's School, Rohini vice-chairman Ved Mittal and director Sunita Mittal welcomed the guests by presenting them with shawls, bouquets and mementos. The chief guest for the occasion was Devender Singh Shokeen, former Transport Minister (Delhi Govt) and Director, MCD (Delhi Andaman Nicobar Islands Civil Services). More than 25 schools and around 300 students participated in the competition. 
In the under-12 team championship category, Salwan Public School, Tronica City and Bhartiya Khel Ashram, Wazir Pur won the first and second positions. The third position was bagged by the host school. Sunila Trpiathi, an audience said, "The event was quite entertaining. Though my kid did not win, I watched the whole competition."
