On account of Republic Day, the members of the ISM house at Thakur Village had organised annual fun and fair in their society. The members have been organising this fun-fair for the past few years which gives them an opportunity to come together and enjoy. The celebrations began with flag hoisting in the morning attended by every member of the society. Following the flag-hoisting program, the women members of society set up different stalls in the vicinity of the society. The stalls range from food delicacies to jewellery and clothes. "Besides, for children there were competitions like fancy dress, dance and singing competition and others. It fun and we everyone enjoys being part of the festival," said, Meenakshi Mitra, resident of ISM house.
