The importance of disaster management is equally important among the kids as it is among the adult group in the society. Imbibing the awareness and remedial steps at the very basic age has become quite crucial these days.
The premises of Rukmini Devi Public School saw wonderful exhibits of the natural disasters and their remedies. A map of India was also made to showcase various disaster prone areas in India. The other two main motives of this exhibition were to highlight different mitigation strategies and importance of First Aid.
A play on global warming presented by the students memerised the audience. The main attraction was the exhibit on Tsunami. Viewers were mesmerised with explanation related to its occurrence, etc. On the whole, it was an innovative and informative exhibition.    
The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr BC Sabata, Senior Scientific Officer in the Department of Environment, Government of NCT, Delhi.
