The 10th anniversary celebration of LCH (LIC colony - Canara Bank Colony - Hanumanthappa Layout) Laughing Club was held at LIC Colony Park by the respective Residents' Welfare Association members and Laughing Club members on December 25.
The celebration was inaugurated by Corporator N Nagaraju (ward 169) who also sponsored the celebration and welcomed by anchor person of the club KP Prabhu. Under the leadership of Akhila, the ladies section of the Laughter Club presented two humorous skits to which the audience could not hold back their laughter and presented a few songs.
During the celebration, the Laughter Club honoured senior members of the club MS Ramaswamy, VSN Iyer, Dr V Bangaraswamy, Subadramma and Saroja Govindraj with a memento and flower bouquet. Prizes were distributed for members who won in the games conducted a few backs ago. Speaking on the occasion, Nagaraju said, "It is a great way to keep up our spirit and a good means to enliven our lives through laughter. I loved the skit, it made me laugh."
Members of other Laughter Club like the Madhavan Park Laughter Club, Romeo Club, Shakthi Ganapathi Club and Arogya Dhama Club of RBI Colony were present during the celebration. The anchor person of each club was honoured. Vote of thanks was proposed by MS Ramaswamy. Breakfast was arranged by the Corporator on the occasion. Also present were MLA Vijaykumar,  president of Association of Laughter Clubs MR Basavaraju, Bangalore City BJP Subba Narasimha and Jayanagar constituency BJP president  Chinnagiriappa.
