A club to look into the welfare of the citizens was introduced here in the vicinity.  

Lions Club of Pune launched its regional branch for the people of Pimple Saudagar recently at the Govind Garden restaurant. Arun Seth, Governor, Lions Club of Pune, S N Ranke, Chairperso, B L Joshi, Vice-Governor, Vevek Naniwabeckar, President, Lions Club of Pune, Pimple Saudagar, Vilas Taukawle, Secretary, Harshal Bhave, Joint Secretary, Prakash Pyseckwar, Treasurer, Sandeep Maske, Joint Treasurer, K D Kulkarni and Deepak Sonar were present at the event.
Addressing the gathering Arun Seth said, "Before working towards the betterment of the locality, we should be well versed with the needs and the requirements of the people." Revealing the detailed activities of the club, Naniwabeckar addressed the people about their eye donation campaign that was publicized by distributing pamphlets in the locality.  
The club runs various projects under which awareness programs like regular health check-up and lectures on personality development will be arranged in frequent intervals.
This club currently consists of 31 members who carry out the required activities of the club.
