Sakhi club organised mass marriage of four couples on February 12 at Jankalyan Mandir, Sector 7. This was Sakhi Club's second chance to arrange mass marriage for those girls and boys who could not afford a well planned marriage due to financial crisis. The couples were happy to be tied in a nuptial knot in such a ceremony. Even the relatives were overwhelmed to attend a good marriage ceremony and danced on the tunes of dhol. The club had arranged. Almost all the commodities needed for a newly wedded couple to start their life were taken care of. The marriage was organised by following all proper rituals. The members were present in full strength to bless the couples. The president of club Puja Bansal, secretary Sanjana Jain and the other committee members Asha Jindal, Rekha Maheshwari, Sunita Mohta, Kavita Gupta along with other members worked hard to make this event successful. Kailash Sharma, Yogesh Gupta, Dhanesh Adhlakha, Arun Bajaj were also present at the occasion.
