Model Colony Parisar Samiti (MCPS) celebrated its 21st anniversary at Lakaki garden recently. The programme saw overwhelming response. Vijay Bhatkar, a renowned scientist, was the chief guest of the programme and Dr. Vaijayanti Patwardhan, KEM Hospital, president over the event.
The programme witnessed the release of 'Sahajivan 2012' a souvenir of MCPS at the hand of Vijay Bhatkar.
Talking about the activities by MCPS, Bhatkar said, "Most of the times we are blaming the system but if we come together, we can do better. MCPS is doing this work."
Madhugita Sukhatme, president of MCPS said, "Though I am a resident of Model Colony, I am unable to participate in various activities of the area. Now I am retired and want to be a part of such activities."
