The mass media department of SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Nerul), organised its ninth annual Frames Film Festival from January 19 to 21.
Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap lit the lamp of the inaugural function on January 19 in the presence of the teaching staff of the college. He then delivered a short speech on film making, focusing on the elements that draw the viewers’ attention. “A filmmaker defines a reality in a film in his own way. For me, my films are not just a medium of conveying a message, but the message itself,” says Kashyap. This was followed by a question-answer session, where the director answered to various questions asked by the students.
Some of the other celebrities that graced the festival were Renuka Shahane, Sumeet Raghavan and and Rajesh Khera.
