The physically challenged Cricket Association of India along with senior cricketer and Ranji player Sanjay Bhatia organised a talent hunt for promoting cricket among the differently-abled. This programme was held at KL Mehta Dayanand Women's college during the morning hours. Differently-abled cricket lovers from various places including Sonepat, Panipat, Palwal and Faridabad participated in the event. The young cricket enthusiasts were divided into two teams and their bowling and batting skills were tested. DR Sharma, secretary Red Cross Society was the chief guest for the occasion. Sanjay Bhatia and secretary of the association Ravi Chauhan selected the best 11 from total 48 candidates registered for this talent hunt. Ravi Chauhan said, "The selected candidates would be sent forth for various tournaments."
Speaking on the occasion chief guest Sharma said, "It's a good platform for the differently-abled to prove their talent."
