A grand Punjabi Kavidarbar was held at Jiva Public school in association with the Haryana Punjabi Sahitya Academy. Sukhchain Singh Bhandari, director of the academy headed the event. Eminent poets including Gurdev Singh Dev, Surjit Kunjahi, Onkar Sood, Bhuvnesh Kumar, Susheela Sargam, Dr. Gurucharan Gandhi presented brilliant poems on the contemporary issues.
Jyoti Sang, one of the eminent theatre artists was the convener of the show. Chairman Admi Sangam, a cultural group KK Bahal welcomed all the audiences and said the group would always work to support the literary and cultural events in the city.
Chairman of the school Rishipal Chauhan thanked all the guests for their presence and also announced that now an extra language Punjabi would be added in the course of the students which were highly applauded by the guests and audiences.
