Jeet Kune-Do, an ultimate creation of martial arts virtuoso Bruce Lee was practised once again in 15th National Jeet Kune-Do Championship 2011 held in Ghaziabad on December 25 by Jeet Kune-Do Federation of India. The championship saw brilliant martial arts skills of the 65 participants from different parts of the country, out of which 25 were girls.
The 21-year-old Himanshu Goswami became the man of the championship for which he was given a trophy, a certificate and a mobile phone. Jeet Kune-Do Federation of India president Vivek Kaushik said, "JKD is an excellent martial art which not only teaches self-defence but also keeps one fit. The participation of girls in this championship was a sign of change in the society."
