The pujaris of the Ganesha Anjaneya Mandir conducted a grand Saraswathi Puja and Anaghashtami Vratam at  Sri Datta Talent School recently. The puja was arranged for academic excellence and better future of the school students.
Sri Ganapathi Sachdanada Swami and Sri Datta Vijayananda Teertha Swami of Avadhoota Datta Peetham, Mysore and the members of Anagha data Kendram, BDL Bhanur were present on the occasion.
The Swamis also explained how Sarswatidevi puja is performed to attain knowledge and expressed their wish to spread Anaghashtami Vratam to modern mankind, especially school children and differently-abled children so as to inculcate good habits from a young age for their growth academically, socially and spiritually.
This Vratam is done to attain bhakti, gyana and vairagya and to ward off evils of the past seven births, which cause hindrances in our present lives.
