A seminar was recently organised by JRN Institute of Aviation Technology at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, NIT-5 on the subject ‘Scope for girls in technical careers in Indian Aviation Industry’. Girls from class X to XII attended the seminar. Career development executive Rakesh Ranjan from JRN Institute of Aviation Technology was present as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he said, “Aviation industry is growing at a fast pace and demands for professionals is very high. Girls can go into technical field and can opt for technical courses like AMI (Aircraft maintenance engineering).”
This one-day seminar concluded in two phases. In the first phase, information regarding aviation industry and power point presentation was given on the importance of AMI course. In the second phase, Q&A session was done. In the end school principal Kiran Kaushik gave vote of thanks.
