For all the music lovers across Malleshwaram, it was a wonderful show for three consecutive days as Ananya GML Cultural Academy organised the festival of music in association with Amritavarshini and Guruguhaamrta at Ananya Sabhangana from February 17 to 19.
With mesmerising performances, the entire show was a crowd puller on all days. Great musicians performed on all the days, adding grandeur to the show. The first day started off with vocal recital by Neela Ramgopal, who was accompanied by Sandhya Srinath on the violin, V Krishna on 'mridanga' and N S Krishna Prasad on 'ghata'. Renowned for her soulful voice, Neela's concert was a memorable experience for all the music lovers.
The second day had vocal recital by K N Sherthalal Ranganatha Sharma, who was accompanied by Vittal Ramamurthy on the violin and K U Jayachandra Rao on 'mridangam'. Performing on Dikshitar's composition, he mesmerised everyone to the core. The last day of the music festival had a unique flute Recital by M K Pranesh, who was accompanied by N N Ganesh Kumar on the violin, M T Rajakesari on 'mridanga' and M A Krishna Murthy on 'ghata'. Performing his best, he was able to enthral the audience completely.
"The entire show was a huge success with a packed audience. With all the performers being well known for their top level of performances, the outcome of the event was expected. Bringing in such wonderful artistes from different parts of the country, it was really a great experience for us," said Dr Raghvendra, founder, Ananya GML Cultural Academy.
