Umang Foundation has found a place in the Limca Book of Records for distributing study material among 9125 underprivileged students from 35 schools.
The project, "Promote Education - ek kadam ujwal bhavishya ki aur", was started in July 2008. This fifth year has marked a milestone for Team Umang as it crossed the 9,000 mark.
Ashish Goyal, founder of Umang Foundation, said, "This event is a significant step towards our ultimate goal of bringing the number of school dropouts to zero. We will continue to strive to achieve such milestones and multiply them year on year."
