The Vidya Vardhini Foundation Trust recently held a one-day paper bag making session at Cheetah Camp. This was also organised to create awareness about marketing in women.  The workshop was conducted under the guidance of Pratap Rajput of Trombay. More than 45 women from Trombay took part in the workshop. “A lot of mothers are not able to take up full-time jobs due to various reasons,” said Chitra Lakshman, director and founder of the Vidya Vardhini Foundation Trust.
She added that since paper bags have a huge demand outside, the objective of holding such a workshop was to empower women.  The organisation plans to conduct more such workshops in the future.
