There are several ways of medication to modify one’s nature by way of medicines that nature offers us in abundance, one of which is Bach Flower Therapy. Let us try to know through few instances how Bach Flower Therapy works and on what ailments.
Bach Flower therapy
Dr. Amit Karkare, a Karve Nagar based Bach Flower Practitioner shares few instances. He says, “Ninad, a student, had become problematic for last few weeks. He strongly avoided going for his evening games. Even a thought or mention of the ground activity disturbed him. He did not allow anybody to even talk about the ground. When interrogated, it was found that a couple of weeks back, he was ridiculed by his friends at the game, after which he feared facing them and that situation.”
Rohit, a professional, had a stable life with his wife and two kids. While working as a medical representative, he was introduced to the stock-market by one of his friends. The initial profits made their usual trick and Rohit left his job to enter into the ‘market’ on a full-time basis. Ignoring the risks, he put all his savings into the ‘futures’, which unfortunately left no ‘option’ for him. The uncertainty of the market hit him hard and he lost all his confidence to do anything, almost retired from the fight.
There are many Ninad and Rohit around us. In fact, most of us might have experienced their state to more-or-less degree at least once in lifetime. Certain negative emotions like fear, anger, jealousy, hatred, frustration, depression, or despair, but do not know what to do of it. We often sympathise by saying “one can’t change his nature”, but that is not the case. And thus here lies the importance of flower therapy.
Bach Flower Therapy has shown effects also on pets.
Shruti Nigudkar, a professor of fine arts and a genuine dog-lover has been one of such relieved pet-owners. She said, “Owing to a lot of noise during festivals my pet Coffee used to take refuge under the bed and also stopped eating food. Surprisingly, after giving her Bach flower remedies, she was seen behaving normally on all four days of Diwali and since the medicine comes in the form of sweet tablets, she is happy to chew them.”
