
His fingers automatically start playing music as soon as he holds the guitar. Just a teenager, and learning from a London Trinity School of Music teacher, Abhishek Singh plans to release his own album very soon.
This guitarist began as a classical vocal singer but the instrument gradually started grabbing his attention and he first started playing it as a hobby when he was in class VI and then seriously since class VIII.
In the beginning, he started learning the guitar himself without any teacher. And around two months back, he joined the Noida School of Rock, where teachers of Trinity School of Music, London, guide him.
Inspired by western guitarists
Abhishek is highly inspired by western guitarists such as Michael Angelo Batio, Linkin Park, Bullet For My Valentine, Metallica, and the best, Slash!
Won best singer award at 'Umang'
He has been an Indian classical singer for a long time. He qualified vocals with first division from Prayag Sangeet Samiti. After that, he won many awards of best singer in school as well as outside, including the best singer award at 'Umang', an annual function of Greater Noida as well as the best classical singer of the school in 2006.
He has also been playing for a band, 'Violet Inferno', and being a part of it they have made their own songs. In the coming months, they'll be performing gigs at some places. He has even performed at YMCA, Greater Noida, as singer as well as guitarist.
Thankful to family
He thinks all what he has achieved would have been impossible without his family support. "My father and brother have been supporting me with everything they can in this endeavour," he said.
Wants to become a famous guitarist
His aim is to become a professional musician, a composer and ultimately a famous guitarist and rock the world with his music.
He wants to go to Berklee School of Music and learn professional music there and launch his own album.
