It is a special opportunity for the residents of the city as the Election Commission of India has announced a special revision of photo electoral rolls of Assembly constituencies in Bangalore City.

A draft roll has been published on April 16. Check your name and other particulars in the voters' list at the nearest BBMP Ward Office or at http://ceokarnataka.kar.nic.in.
You can verify your name or the names of your family members and if any addition, modification or deletion is to be done, then you may submit application in relevant forms.
The officers of BBMP will visit each house and do door-to-door verification till April 30.
If your name is not on the rolls and would like to apply, Form 6 needs to be filled. The form is available at the same site. You can fill it online and submit or you can submit a filled in copy at submit the same at the BBMP Ward Office.
If your name is in the rolls but particulars are wrong, then Form 8 needs to be filled.
If any name is to be deleted in the rolls, Form 7 is to be filled. For transposition of entry from one part of the Assembly Constituency to another part in the same constituency, then you need to fill up Form 8A.
Indian citizens not less than 18 years of age as on 1-1-2012 and ordinary residents are eligible to be included in the electoral rolls.
Here is what you can do.
Enrol as a first-time voter or oncoming to reside in the Assembly constituency. If your name has been left out in the voters' list published in January 2012, give the required information to the Booth Level Officers when they visit your house, to enable them to include your name. No need to fill any form.
Also get any corrections done in your entries or in the EPIC Card issued to you. Besides you can give your coloured passport size photograph in case your photo is not there in the roll. C

Voters can send SMS to 9243355223 to know their details in the electoral rolls in the following format {kaepic<space>electors photo identity card number}.
