Corporator Responds!

B Bharti has assured to take all necessary actions for the betterment of the area.

After the tumultuous efforts of the residents of Banjara Hills and the humble effort of Cityplus to wake up the local Corporator to her duties,  B. Bharati, Municipal Corporator from Banjara Hills,  in a telephonic statement to the Cityplus news room assured  that all the pending works shall be completed at the earliest. She said, "I would never make the people from my area wait. I am devoted to their service. I may really not have been around that day when they came to meet me at my office, as they quoted. Let me assure the people that I will make all the necessary arrangements and get the pending works done as soon as possible."
 Speaking about the issue of street lights in Zehra Nagar area she retorted, "I will personally go tomorrow and visit the area. I guarantee you that not only this, but all the other areas which you have mentioned will be getting proper street lights and other amenities."
In a bid to explain her position regarding the water wastage outside her house, she added, "I had installed this tank for public use, unfortunately since I was busy with field work, the broken tap was ignored. You can check now, it has now been repaired."
Speaking about the problems faced in getting the civic issues resolved she said "There are a lot of agencies involved in the same. This time I will go to the GHMC Commissioner also if need be, to get people's problems solved. There are many Hi Mast lights which need repair, but I have to hear a lot from the Traffic police and GHMC authorities regarding unavailability of the repair vehicles, as well as lack of permission to park these vehicles."
It's time that all other agencies wake up and realize that public service has to be first priority,  as the people are no more voiceless!
