A two-day Annual Youth Festival of Music and Dance-2012 from February 17 to 19 will be organised by Nadasurabhi at the Indian Heritage Academy Hall, 20th Main, near Koramangala Police Station in Koramangala in 6th Block.
On February 17, youth festival will be inaugurated at 4 pm. This will be followed by the vocal music by the students of Nadaloka School of Music at 4.15 pm. It will be recited by Neha, Tejaswini, Srinath and Raghu along with their Guru Vidwan R Vasudevan.
From 5 pm to 7.30 pm there will be a vocal recital by Kum Aiswarya Vidya Raghunath, Kum Aditi Krishnaprasad on the violin and Master Adamya R on the mridangam, will accompany her.
Aiswarya is a disciple of Sangeetha Kalacharya Seethalakshmi Venkatesan, Padma Bhushan P S Narayanaswamy and Vegavahini Vijayaraghavan. An 'A' graded artiste of All India Radio, Aishwarya has performed at many prestigious organizations like The Madras Music Academy, Sri Venkateshwara Bhakthi Channel (Tirupati), Narada Gana Sabha, Krishna Gana Sabha, Shanmukhananda Sabha (Mumbai), Chembur fine Arts (Mumbai), Bangalore Gayana Samaj, Mylapore Fine Arts, Hamsadhwani, to name a few.
Awards: Award of Excellence instituted by Rasika Fine Arts, Best Vocalist award from the Bangalore Gayana Samaj,Yagnaraman Endowment Award from Krishna Gana Sabha, 1st Prize in the All India Radio competition. She's also a recipient of the scholarship for Carnatic music instituted by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
The next day on February 18 at 4 pm, there will be vocal music by students of Eshwaralaya - Centre for Music Excellence. Students namely Devika, Raaga, Uthara, Smrithi and Sneha along with their Guru Vidushi Usha Srinivasan, will recite.
There will be vocal recital by Kum Sriranjani Santhanagopalan from 5 pm to 7.30 pm. Master Vittala Rangan on the Violin, Master Akshay Anand on the Mridangam and Master Sunaad on the Khanjira, will accompany.
Kumari Sriranjani is daughter and disciple of senior Carnatic vocalist Neyveli Santhanagopalan. She has performed in all major sabhas like Shri Krishna Gana Sabha, Bharat Kalachar, Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, Narada Gana Sabha, Brahma Gana Sabha in Chennai and also in several places in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Thriruvananthapuram and so on. She has also made frequent appearances in the Jaya T V, SRGMP, Margazhi Mahotsavam, Tiruppavai show, Navaratri utsavam, Zee TV margazhi special show and Tyagaraja Pancharatna Mahotsav
Awards: Mazhalai Medaigal award at the age of 4; Winner of the All India Radio competition (vocal, Carnatic); Best junior award from Parthasarathy Swami Sabha; Best Raga Alapana from Indian Fine Arts; "Best Performer" in the Isai Velvi, conducted by the "International Society for Laya Awareness".
On the last day on February 19 there will be a grand Bharathanatyam programme at 4 pm. 'Paalaya Jatadhara' —A thematic presentation on Lord Shiva by Natyasruti dancers: Lakshmi Ramesh, Sruthi Vasudevan, Shreegowri Bhat and Priya Radhakrishnan (Students of Sumitra Nitin).
Nattuvangam and vocal by Sumitra Nitin; vocal by Sujatha Vijayaraghavan; vocal support by Subha Sampath; mridangam by Janardhan and violin by Meera Rajkumar.
 Saints Purandara Dasa and Thyagaraja Aradhana will be held at 5.45 pm. Group Rendering of Pillari geethas and Pancharathna kirthis. This will be followed by distribution of prasadam.
