Indirapuram will now be dealing with security matters in a systematic and effective manner.

With the help of RWA Federation of Ghaziabad, new techniques and plans are being implemented to make Indirapuram more secure and safer place to reside.
On February 11, RWA Federation of Ghaziabad organised a meeting with Radius Infratel, police and RWAs of various societies at Ashiana Upvan Club House, Ahimsa Khand-II. Security concerns were profoundly discussed in the meeting.
"There is a sheer need of 24-hour surveillance in Indirapuram. The residents want CCTV cameras to be installed at the entrance gates and connectivity through intercom among the flat owners, societies and police," said Alok Kumar, president, Arihant Harmony RWA.
Radius Infratel, a company, has agreed to provide free cameras on the entrance gate of every society of Indirapuram and also the intercom system.
All present in the meeting under the guidance of Col Tejender Pal Tyagi agreed to implement following techniques in the area to curb security threat.
• Free CCTV cameras (for surveillance) and free intercom systems will be provided to all the societies of Indirapuram.
• The entire work will be completed within 60 days and the company will pay a penalty of Rs 1000 per society per day if the work is delayed.
• Every society, big or small, will be connected through the optical cable, surveillance system and intercom system.
• The company will connect the societies and the nearest Police Control Room.
Brigadier Rajendra Mehrotra and Rajneesh Wahi of Radius Infratel agreed to implement these techniques in Indirapuram. They will also provide an ambulance to the Federation of Ghaziabad for social service. Moreover, their control room will be set up near Shanti Gopal Hospital in Ahimsa Khand-II. Although it was agreed unanimously to take the services of the company, the agreement will be signed by the societies independently.
Superintendent of Police (Traffic) and circle officer Kamlesh Bahadur agreed to recommend the proposal to the higher authorities and to arrange another meeting immediately after the elections to take care of the micro details.
RWA Federation of Ghaziabad general secretary Sanjay Singh, Federation's in-charge of voter lists Ajay Agrawal, Sachin Yadav, Rekha Pathak, Monalisa Sinha, Ramesh Chakravarty and Salil Gupta supported the federation in this endeavour. Over 80 RWAs of Indirapuram were also present.
