Work is going on in full swing as GDA prepares to handover the administration of Indirapuram to GNN.

Development works are being carried out at Indirapuram nowadays, not on residents' requests but for handing over the area by the Ghaziabad Development Authority to the Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam.
The transfer was scheduled in 2012. As per the GDA officials before handing over the area to the GNN, some pending works have to be completed. GDA executive engineer SS Shukla said, "The procedure of handing over the area is in its last phase and we are completing the works so that the transfer is made soon."
Development of green belts, repairs and resolving of the age-old troublesome issues of sewage and the work of bus shelters in many areas have been taken up on a priority basis by the GDA.
The dividers on the road from Kanavani village to CISF cut, road opposite Swarn Jayanti Park, roads in Ahimsa Khand, Vaibhav Khand, Shakti Khand, Neeti Khand, Kala Pathar road have been in a deplorable state for a long time. Most of the dividers are broken at many places. The grills are also broken and greenery is in a ruined state. The GDA is repairing these dividers. "It is good that the GDA is repairing these dividers. Otherwise, if the dividers would have been handed over to the GNN without proper repairs then they would have never been repaired and both the authorities would have only blamed the other for the mess. Now, it will be GNN's responsibility to maintain these dividers in future," said Rakesh Juneja, a resident of Vaibhav Khand.
The green belt which was ruined for laying a new sewage line is also being developed by the GDA. Work of development of green belts is on the verge of completion at many places.
