India being a den for amazing wildlife and breathtaking flora and fauna attracts people from all across the globe.

Exploring wildlife is a thrill and addiction for those in love with nature and animals. India being blessed with beautiful landscape and wide-ranging wildlife attracts tourists from across the globe. Many foreigners just flock into India to fulfil their dream of spotting tigers, leopards, rhinos, lions in the wilds. Not only wildlife, India is a paradise for bird watchers as wide variety of rare birds like great hornbill, shrikes, drongos, cormorants, owls and thousand others can be spotted here.
Today, we'll take you out on the safari tours of five forest reserves of India - Jim Corbett, Bandhavgarh, Panna, Sariska and Kaziranga.

Jim Corbett National Park
It's one of the most beautiful jungles of India with amazing wildlife and landscape. Located in Uttaranchal, tiger is the main attraction for tourists coming here. Shekhar Chatterjee, who has been to Corbett twice shares, "Fortunately, I spotted tiger both the time I went. Just one glimpse of the king in the wilds and your trip is made."
The other highlights of the Jim Corbett are tusker elephants, leopard and wide variety of birds.
Best time to visit: Feb to May. The park remains closed from June 16 to Nov 14.
Must visit safari zones: Bijrani and Dhikala (Here, one has the option of going for jeep, canter and elephant safaris.)

Bandhavgarh National Park
One of best protected tiger reserves of India, here the population of the king is multiplying at a steady pace. As a result of this, the chances of spotting a tiger are always high. Mahouts always keep a close eye on the jungle and take every possible measure to protect tigers without interfering with the wilds.
The landscape of this forest, situated in MP, is completely different from Jim Corbett and here the wildlife has a lot to offer. In Bandhavgarh, you can spot leopard, wild cat and wide variety of snakes during summers.
Best time to visit: Jan to April. The park remains closed from July 1 to Oct 31)
Must visit safari zones:  Tala and Magdhi.

Panna National Park
This tiger reserve of MP hardly has any tiger left due to random poaching. Taking a boat ride in the Ken River and getting a close view of giant crocodiles was the best part of the whole safari.
Best time to visit: Nov to Jan

Kaziranga National Park
One of the oldest park in Assam, Kaziranga is famous for One-horned Rhinos. The wildlife is in abundant and one can spot tigers, rhinos, elephants, pythons and wild-water buffalo. As there are good numbers of tigers here, it's also declared as a tiger reserve in 2006.
Jaya Thakur, who visited Kaziranga last year shares, “We took a jumbo elephant safari and luckily the first animal we spotted was a one-horned rhino. The view of Brahmaputra River flowing through the national park is breathtaking.”
Best time to visit: Jan and Feb

Sariska National Park
The only highlights of the place are crocodile and blue antelope. The jeep safari is fun as it takes you deep inside the forest but the chances of spotting a tiger is too bleak. The forest surely needs the attention of Rajasthan government.
