Water therapy falls among one of the oldest therapies known to mankind.
HYDROTHERAPY
Used in many different ways to cure diseases, it is one of the cheapest and easiest ways to heal, considering all that's needed in this case is water! The therapy is used to get rid of stiffness of the body and get the muscles and nerves of the body to relax. This simplistic exercise can even be applied within the comfortable confines of your home!
One can take hip baths, which involves soaking one's entire back in water (with legs outside the bath tub so that the hips are completely inside the water), in order to get relief from back pain. Water, both hot and cold, plays a major role in rectifying the problem completely. During spine baths, the entire body is soaked inside the water so that the spine is completely exposed to the healing qualities of the water.
Even something as simple as fasting can work wonders for the body. Stripping your diet down to just water, supplemented by coconut and honey water, can help on achieve physical, sensory, physiological and mental equilibrium.
"The human body, when left alone, displays remarkable healing power, more so since it can focus on cell regeneration," informed Dr Babu Joseph, director of National Institute of Naturopathy. "The aim of the therapy is to increase blood circulation and activate the nervous system. Toxemia is the root cause of all the diseases. By increasing blood circulation and removing toxins, diseases can be cured," adds Joseph.
"I suffered from back ache for years before doctors suggested that I undergo surgery. Then, someone told me about spine therapy I tried it and the result was amazing! Now, I do not have back ache anymore," says, Chandna Firke.
