BERTRAM JACOB, A NATIONAL LEVEL  ATHLETE BELIEVES IN FOLLOWING DREAMS WITH ZEAL AND PERSEVERANCE.

His game is his passion. And it's infectious. 38-year- old Bertram Sanu Jacob, an athlete has proved it. Helping the young aspirants in achieving their goals, Jacob is preparing them for the field. A resident of Fatima Nagar Jacob defines the never-say-die spirit. A Bishop-ite and a B.Com graduate from Ness Wadia College, Jacob has always aimed for the sky and has done given his best in achieving whatever he desires with exuberance and dedication.

Proud Punekar
Bertram Jacob has represented the Pune University at the National level and has won medals and trophies in Football, Athletics and Handball. He has also played Football and Handball for the Oman Police Team. Bertram has also won Gold in Athletics in Oman. In 2009, Cedrics 11, the club he used to play for, won the Football Nations in India and been on Team India in United Kingdom to play on the Man U grounds against 14 different countries. Currently, he is playing for a club called Mischief Makers, which stood 3rd in the All-India Manishanand Football Tournament. He also coaches the Under 15 team of Football for Maharashtra.

Parting knowledge
When asked about his future endeavours, Bertram Jacob desires to train and share his experiences with the young aspirants to enhance their skills and make them a true sportsperson. Jacob further added by saying, "The youth is now-a-days giving up on Football and other sports due to lack of funds and opportunities. In my opinion, one should never lose hope and give their best to the sport they are playing."
With a lot of clubs and foreign parties taking interest in sports, there are many opportunities that one can get to play on a bigger platform, which can happen only due to constant practice and hard-work.
