The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) Resident Welfare Association of Sector 29 has issued circulars for facilitating the residents who have still not got their voter ID cards made.
HUDA RWA general secretary Subodh Nagpal said, "Some youngsters who have attained the age of 18 have not yet enrolled their names in the voter ID list. Many people have not received their voter id cards so we are in regular contact with the BLOs to get the cards delivered to the addresses."
These officials will provide form No. 6 that needs to be filled while applying for the voter IDs. The forms need to be submitted to the Sector 12 office of the Returning Officer. After a few days the Voter ID cards will be ready. These forms would only be accepted till February 27 at the election officer to build the new Voter ID cards.
The RWA members have even written a letter to the District Election Officer to start the process of online voter cards. This process would enhance the transparency in the issuing of the voter cards.
