Sulabh: An upcoming playback singer

Music runs in his veins. At 18, Sulabh Nagpal got an opportunity to perform with Sonu Nigam. He is also the winner of SaReGaMaPa (Delhi).
Sulabh Nagpal a resident of Kalkaji is doing his graduation from Bhagat Singh College. This budding
singer has already proved his mettle participating in various reality shows.

How it all started
Son of a devotional singer Sanjay Nagpal and housewife Mamta Nagpal, Sulabh started crooning at the age of 10 and never ceased in his musical quest. A bright student of his college, Sulabh wants to become a famous playback singer and also perform in Bollywood. He says, "I want to be a playback singer, it is my dream to be a part of Bollywood."
Sulabh recalls, "My first performance was at my school, it was on Teacher's Day. I was in class VIII at that time. After my performance, I got lot of appreciation from teachers and students. They asked me to try my luck in the music industry, that is when I decided to make a mark in music." He likes to perform pop, rock and sufi and is taking training from Pandit Jeet Singh.

His musical journey
Sulabh says, "My musical journey took wings when I won first reality singing show on radio hosted by BIG 92.7 FM. It was the turning point of my life. Later, I performed with MTV's 'Rock On' and was chosen in the top 10 vocalist's chart."When asked about his biggest achievement till date, he says, "I feel lucky to have performed with Sonu Nigam in 2010 in his all India tour. I opened the concerts for him in five cities--Delhi, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Mumbai."
Sulabh was also the winner of Voice of Delhi (a talent hunt show) in 2010. He has also performed with various renowned playback singers like Shaan, Kunal Ganjawala and Kailash Kher. Apart from it, he has a short role in forthcoming movie 'Mere Brother ki Dulhan' where he is working with Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan.

His aim
Sulabh wants to be a playback singer and also wants to perform in Bollywood. His father Sanjay Nagpal says, "If he gives his 100 per cent, God will give him the best for his future for sure."
Currently Sulabh is working on his own upcoming album 'Chahat'.
Sulabh says that he learns from his each mistake and tries to do what his guru suggests. He devotes about four hours every day to riaaz.
