With the heat full on; Summer Camps turn out to be the best way helping kids beat the heat in the scorching heat.
It is time for holidays, time for enjoyment and time for Summer Camps. Yes Hyderabad and especially kids of the city are all set to have extreme pleasure this holiday season. Actually it is the time for all the kids to get intensely busy with some creativity. The hot Sun is no excuse; for delight awaits them in summer camps.
Different organizations, schools, coaching centers, other academies have all geared up and are organizing different summer camps in the city for kids. Few offer games and sports, many focus on coaching in soft skills, and scores offer music coaching and the list goes on. However the motto of every organization is the same --To train the kids as much as possible in their favourite genre this summer.
Children are also excited about these camps. Many showing greater interest in these camps, we spoke to few kids. "I'm waiting for summer holidays from February as I want to learn guitar and enjoy playing music," says Manish, a fifth class student. There are many organizations which are offering different courses in music in summer.
In spite of the heat, there is a great demand for music classes this season. "There are lot many kids who come to learn guitar and other instruments to the academy and there is lot of enthusiasm and great urge to learn music in kids. I love to teach them and also get enough time to enjoy with them. In summer it has become a great pass time for me with these kids," says John, a Music teacher.
In summers, parents are also keen in sending their children to these camps as they utilize these holidays in learning new things. "Summer holidays should not be wasted by just playing and watching televisions. Children must make use of these holidays in a proper way. This academic gap of two months should be bridged by these sessions. This also helps kids keep themselves busy in learning and exploring something new," says Sukanya, who is keen on enrolling her son in a summer camp.

Carry-over is important
Often children focus on these extra-curricular activities only in summer camps once schools are back on it all goes in cold storage. This is a practice many children and parents follow. The camp organizers suggest the parents to continue with the classes at least for an hour every day even after the camps.
"Parents should think about the carry over point. They should make sure that their children will continue the classes even after the camps. This will help the children not only in learning a new activity but also to improve in it. Keeping the children physically and mentally fit," says Sai Baba, Sports Coaching Foundation at Masab Tank.
So it is time for all the children to pick the ball of entertainment, fun, learning and set it rolling.
