To Asha Niketan with love

As February 14 marks the day of love and sharing with togetherness, the members of Spurthy Mahila Sangha visited Asha Nikethan, a home for the mentally challenged people located in Koramangala 6th Block. The members celebrated the day with those people who are in need of love which they are lacking in their life.
"As we all know that life and love are only two things which can't be purchased anywhere. That life and love has been given there which we came to know only with our presence with them," said Shilpa of Spurthy Mahila Sangha.
Members of Spurthy Mahila Sangha and Koramangala 8th Block Welfare Association gave a small token of love to those in needs.
The Chairman of Asha Nikethan said: "It is God's gift for him to stay here and serve those people. There are lots of assistants who are serving with us. It is not to push away those people from home but to show love and caring hearts, they all need the same from everyone."
On this occasion, the members also played some games with the inmates who enjoyed a lot. The inmates also requested them to visit very often and entertain them in future and they also wished to go out and enjoy for few hours or a day of time.
The inmates make candles, paper bags, bamboo items, craft works with needle and thread, tie and dye, drawing, knitting and much more and are also sold in some exhibitions and use the amount for their needs.
