MCD has failed even in providing the basic service of garbage collection in Dwarka. We only hear about scams and proposal to levy new taxes. It has drastically failed in winning the confidence of the public and come out with a clean image.

The MCD policy on unauthorised colonies is completely a failure in my opinion. In the last five years, unauthorised colonies were settled but not regularised which is one of MCD's biggest failures. Either do not settle new colonies or give them proper authorisation within time limit.

Transparency of MCD is the biggest failure, be it in the collection of pre 2004 property tax or the information about new projects being taken up. There should be transparency in the system related to property tax and other civic issues and progress.
