Will corporators perform better in the new term?

I'm of the opinion that they will work. Now they are under tremendous pressure to perform due to all the anti-corruption drives. If they want to get reelected, they have to prove themselves

Maybe or maybe not, it all depends upon the honesty of the person. Things have changed and residents have started demanding answers for the every step they take. This attitude should push the corporators to work.

In my opinion, I don't think the politicians are ever going to change. They will only work for a couple of days and go back into hibernation mode.

They will work only for the first few days. Later, when posed with issues, they will make excuses to work, citing poor budgets or lack of manpower. They will only start working when elections are nearing or when they have just been elected.
