Unkempt promises


As elections are round the  corner, we asked residents which civic problem is the biggest failure in their area.

The councillor had to fix four canopies in the parks of the sector. One canopy worth Rs five lakh was even brought to the park but it was not fixed. The promise of beautification of the park is incomplete.

The roads in front of our enclave are marred with potholes. The councillor had promised the repair work but now it has been more than a year and the councillor is still fooling us by extending the deadline of the repair work.

When the councillor of our area won the elections he had promised us a proper water supply in our area. But nothing has been done in his regard. The tank that had to be put up under the rainy well scheme has also not been constructed.
