Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki festival
Sangeet natak,' 'bhaktisangeet,' 'ghazals' and fusion are some of the highlights of the annual Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki Festival, the seventh edition of which will be held from March 23 to 25 at Gharkul Lawns, near Mhatre Bridge.
The three-day event will be inaugurated on March 23 at 5.30 pm in the presence of Mayor Vaishali Bankar and well-known actor Shrikant Moghe. The festival has been organised by Tarangini Sanskrutik Pratishthan and Aapla Parisar, and has been supported by Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).
The festival will also felicitate Pandit Jagannathbua Purohit's disciple, Leelatai Karambelkar.
Painting exhibition at Malaka Spice
Shireen Advani would sketch natural scenes as well as human figures and faces instead of scribbling on notepads. The art teacher at school in India encouraged her to paint. Although she is a versatile painter, what she enjoys most is painting seascapes and landscapes and her favorite media is oil. She expresses her artistic talent with use of unique
colors and imagination.

Films based on Women`s Liberation
Film festival by AAYAM & AASHAY in association with NFAI. Films are based on the subject

Rhythmic Life Exhibition
Anuradha Thakur, a well-known painter based in Ahmednagar, will be showcasing her works after a long interval in Pune, she will exhibiting recent works from 3 different series. Her works are creative & in Indian decorative style, colourful vibrant compositions depict Indian tribal & folk festivities.

11th Shaniwarwada Dance Festival
Nirakar-Sakar, a 30 minutes unique presentation conceptualised and choreographed by Kathak Guru Shama Bhate and presented by 'Naada Roop'. This creation is dedicated to the memories of Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi. The Gold & Silver passes for this festival will be made available at Poona Club, PYC Gymkhana, Balgandharva Rang Mandir & Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha, from March 5.
